Your new role:

They are currently seeking their first VP Finance, who will help them to execute on their incredible mission. You will apply strategic foresight and diligence for all their financial operations. You will have the opportunity to shape the financial landscape, drive operational excellence. The foresee this person growing into the companies first Chief Financial Officer.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• 8+ years Finance experience, preferably within fast growth hardware / energy startup
• Proven leadership experience within a Corporate FP&A and/or Strategic Finance function, demonstrating the ability to present and provide recommendations to executives effectively.
• Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with the ability to distill complex issues into structured models, frameworks, and actionable plans.
• A successful track record of collaborating seamlessly with accounting teams to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the general ledger and to establish well-coordinated reporting processes.
• Experience in partnering with cross-functional business units, such as sales, merchandising, and supply chain, to successfully manage projects and drive collaborative outcomes.
• Possess a "player-coach" mindset, capable of diving into the details to build financial models, dashboards, and reports from scratch, while also demonstrating the ability to lead and develop direct reports in the future.
• A bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, and/or Economics
