Role Responsibilities

As a Clinical Psychiatrist, you will be entrusted with conducting psychiatric evaluations and providing treatment for patients at designated clinical facilities. You will be an integral member of a multidisciplinary treatment team, focusing on patients with eating disorders and associated psychiatric conditions. Your practice will be inclusive, catering to individuals of all ages and genders, and you will serve as a vital resource for medical and behavioral health teams regarding optimal psychiatric care practices.

Work Schedule
  • Flexible options available, including part-time (0.5 FTE) at our Outpatient facility or full-time hours at our Residential site.
  • Both roles entail on-call duties.
Key Contributions to Recovery

In your capacity as a Psychiatrist, you will provide direct client services, which may include:
  • Collaborating with fellow clinicians, including therapists, social workers, and dietitians, to deliver comprehensive treatment plans for clients and their families.
  • Conducting thorough client assessments to develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment strategies.
  • Assessing clients' medication management needs, prescribing appropriate medications, and conducting regular follow-ups.
  • Leading group therapy sessions.
  • Participating in case conferences to discuss client progress.
Qualifications
  • MD or DO degree.
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
  • Valid medical license in the state of Ohio.
  • Current unrestricted DEA registration.
  • Completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency program.
  • A minimum of two years of independent practice experience, particularly in complex psychiatric environments, including work with eating disorder patients.
