Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage a variety of volunteer-driven activities and programs that enhance resident well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with department leaders and the Executive Director to cultivate partnerships with local educational institutions, businesses, and community organizations to build a robust network of volunteers and resources.
  • Create and maintain a dynamic calendar of events that offers diverse experiences for residents and their families.
  • Oversee budget preparation and monitor financial performance to achieve revenue and expenditure goals.
  • Lead recruitment, training, and retention efforts to build a high-performing team dedicated to quality programming.

Qualifications

  • Preferred experience in a similar role.
  • Minimum of one year of supervisory experience, ideally within a senior living context.
  • High school diploma is required; a college degree is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire and guide volunteers and team members in delivering exceptional activity programming.
  • Maintain all necessary state certifications or licenses.
  • Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations related to resident care and services.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel) and capable of learning new software applications.
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends to accommodate the needs of residents and staff.
