Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and Manage Invoices: Process all accounts payable invoices for both companies, ensuring timely and accurate payment.
  • Generate and Submit Invoices: Generate and submit all accounts receivable invoices, including AIAs, to clients with support from project managers.
  • Vendor Payments and Lien Waivers: Release vendor payments and collect necessary lien waivers to expedite client payment, saving all documents as required.
  • Document Management: Electronically save all preliminary lien requests received and request receive and save copies of vendor Certificates of Insurance.
  • Job Cost Reports: Generate job cost reports and regularly communicate performance to interested parties, including the project manager.
  • Expense Reconciliation: Reconcile credit cards monthly (currently Bank of America WEX Fuel and Home Depot) and import activity into software.
  • Expense Report Management: Function as the primary contact for expense report corrections and submission.
  • File Management: Maintain accurate, confidential, and secure files for the company.
  • Project Meetings: Attend construction project rollover meetings, focusing on accounting responsibilities.
  • Accounting System Data Entry: Verify construction project data entry into the accounting system (Foundation).
  • Reimbursements: Submit for Butler iConnect reimbursements.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Associates or Bachelor's Degree, preferably with an accounting major.
  • Experience: 3-5 years in accounting for a construction company.
  • Skills: Mathematical and analytical skills to develop and interpret financial reports, ability to effectively communicate ideas, and exceptional computer skills with an understanding of current technology.
  • Software Proficiency: Foundation accounting software, Microsoft Office Suite (Intermediate Level), and AutoDesk Build experience is a bonus.
  • Personal Qualities: Meticulous, personable, team player who considers the impact of their work on others, enthusiastically faces challenges, and evolves within a dynamic and flexible environment.

Schedule:

Work Schedule: 40-hour work week, Monday-Thursday: 8:00 am-5:00 pm, Friday: 8:00 am-3:00 pm.
