We are seeking a highly skilled OSP Construction Coordinator to join our team at Project Resources Group, Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction of outside plant telecommunications infrastructure, including cable fiber for aerial and underground scenarios.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing walkouts pre/post-construction to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Verifying as-builts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Troubleshooting any build-out issues in the field.
  • Verifying that subcontractors have the necessary PPE gear to perform work.
  • Identifying permitting requirements as needed.
  • Communicating with customers in the path of construction.

In the office, you will be responsible for:

  • Compiling bill of materials (BOM) for construction projects.
  • Preparing notice-to-proceed (NTP) packages for contractors.
  • Providing weekly reports to management on construction activity.
  • Following up with city municipalities regarding permitting issues.

Requirements for this role include:

  • Three or more years of hands-on experience in cable construction.
  • Knowledge of local area dig laws.

Preferred skills and abilities include:

  • Strong leadership skills to mentor and influence subcontractors and vendors.
  • Customer service acumen to interpret, communicate, and help deliver client needs.
  • Impressive ability to organize and prioritize projects.
  • Strong understanding of fiber and coax engineering.
  • Computer proficiency and Microsoft tools to create, manage, and present data and reporting to various stakeholders and management.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to adjust delivery to your audience verbally and in writing.

We offer a competitive salary of $30 to $35 per hour, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits, including mileage reimbursement, health benefits, and a 401(k) plan.
