Job Summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Drug and Breath Alcohol Collector to join our team. As a key member of our collection team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients while ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our testing services.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collection and Processing
  • Collect and process specimens in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
  • Ensure all specimens are accurately labeled and stored in a secure manner.
  • Upload, fax, or mail Chain of Custody (COC) forms and Alcohol Testing Forms within 24 hours to the designated location.
Transportation and Logistics
  • Transport specimens, supplies, equipment, and materials to the designated location in a safe and timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of each specimen collected and transported.
Customer Service
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, including responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner.
Regulatory Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including DOT guidelines for Breath Alcohol and Urine collections.
  • Maintain accurate records of all collections, including accuracy logs, calibrations, and certifications.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management, including participating in special events and projects.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including equipment and supplies.
Requirements
  • Education
    • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Experience
    • DOT Certification and any other necessary documentation pertaining to this position must be presented prior to a job offer.
  • Skills
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.
    • Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office with the ability to learn new software.
  • Licenses and Certifications
    • Valid driver's license
Working Conditions

The Drug and Breath Alcohol Collector will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. The position will involve frequent travel, including up to 100 miles, and may require working in a variety of settings, including client offices and Quest Diagnostics facilities.
