Job Description

We thrive in a fast-paced environment, and we're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Inventory Management Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Analysis and Optimization: Analyze workflows required to maintain inventory accuracy of all materials used in the production or maintenance of units. Implement process improvements to reduce inefficiencies and enhance parts organization.
  • Warehouse Management: Maintain a high level of housekeeping, organization, and identification and FIFO of all related storage areas.
  • Cycle Counting and Inventory Verification: Conduct frequent cycle counts and assist with identification of root causes and corrective actions when physical counts do not match system quantities.
  • Inventory Reporting and Replenishment: Report any low inventory to ensure stock-out situations are avoided. Ensure any damaged parts are properly accounted for.
  • Annual Physical Inventory Audits: Assist with annual physical inventory audits and serve as area owner for all warehouse locations where parts are stored.
  • Material Handling and Organization: Handle and organize materials with the use of forklift, carts, and by-hand frequently.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school education or GED equivalent is required.
  • Forklift Operator Training and Certification: Forklift operator training and certification required.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Computerized Inventory Systems: Experience with computerized inventory systems required.
  • Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Experience with continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
  • Inventory Control Procedures: Basic understanding of inventory control procedures.
  • Organizational and Supervision Skills: Extremely organized and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic math calculations.
  • Forklift Maneuverability Skills: Possess excellent forklift maneuverability skills.
  • Microsoft Office Applications: Basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications and proficient keyboarding skills.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to locate, identify, and physically move parts of various sizes.
