Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Account Manager to join our industry leading sales team at International Flavors & Fragrances. As a Senior Account Manager, you will have the opportunity to drive sustainable profitable sales and market share growth by identifying customer needs and opportunities, and risks, with a focus on sizeable and complex accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

Set and align financial targets with management.

Develop and grow sustainable relationships with internal and external customers.

Prepare and communicate account plan and relevant market information.

Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver strategic innovation, creation, and sustainability solutions to the customer.

Analyze customer products, competitors, consumer insights, and future trends to translate to actionable opportunities.

Partner with Operations to ensure customer satisfaction in terms of service, quality, and supply chain.

Requirements:

Approximately 5-7 years of experience preferably with a minimum 3 years commercial experience in Fragrance / Chemical / FMCG or related Industries.

Strong track record at a similar level with a passion to succeed in commercial sales.

Skills:

Ability to work autonomously and lead diverse and remote teams.

Customer-centric with B2B management experience.

Analytical with the ability to deal with financial concepts/processes (pricing/margin/forecasting).

Strong interests in product development/creation, consumers, and market understanding (Marketing/R&D/CI).

Solid fragrance knowledge and olfactive skills (raw materials, biochemistry or skin care knowledge where applicable).

Creative and innovative mindset.

Project management with effective leadership, collaboration, and orchestration skills.

Strong communication, presentation, storytelling, and negotiation skills.

English language proficiency with a global mindset and ability to work with different cultures.

Ability to navigate and use digital marketing and ecommerce.

Ability to gather and leverage both competitive market intelligence and customer insights.
