Acuren Inspection, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Nondestructive Testing Assistant to join our team in Auburn, ME. As a key member of our operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our services.
Key Responsibilities- Set up and operate Nondestructive Test equipment to inspect materials and detect defects.
- Assist Radiographers in calibrating NDT equipment and conducting tests to ensure quality and detect discontinuities.
- Record results of inspections and maintain accurate records.
- Assist in performing NDT procedures, carrying equipment, and other operations as assigned by management.
- Perform other job-related tasks as required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Some college education preferred.
- Technical background desired.
- Level I MT, PT, RT, UT preferred.
- RAD 40, T&R, IRRSP preferred.
- Must be able to pass a thorough background check and have a clean driving record to operate company vehicles.
