Job Summary

Acuren Inspection, Inc. is seeking a skilled NDT Assistant to support our operations in Auburn, ME. As a key member of our team, you will assist in performing calibrations, Nondestructive Tests, and evaluations to ensure the structural integrity of critical energy, industrial, and public infrastructures.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and utilize Nondestructive Test equipment to conduct tests and evaluations.
  • Assist Radiographers in the calibration of NDT equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Conduct tests to detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection.
  • Record results of inspections and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist in performing NDT procedures, carrying equipment, and other operations as assigned by management.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Some college preferred.
  • Technical background desired.
  • Level I MT, PT, RT, UT preferred.
  • RAD 40, T&R, IRRSP preferred.
  • Must be able to pass a thorough background check to ensure trustworthiness and reliability.
  • Motor Vehicle Driving record must meet company standards to drive company vehicles.
