NDT Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented NDT Trainee to join our team at Mistras Group Inc. - Services. As an NDT Trainee, you will assist experienced technicians with various NDT methods, gaining hands-on experience and knowledge in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist technicians with setting up and tearing down of equipment
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance tasks, calibrations, and overall upkeep of equipment and facilities
• Assist with proper documentation and reports of services provided
• Learn and abide by company policies and procedures
• Develop skills in NDT methods, including radiography, ultrasonic testing, and magnetic particle testing

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Transportation Worker Identification Credential
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to perform a wide variety of tasks and respond to short notice work assignments
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Working Conditions

Field duties require outdoor work in a plant/refinery environment. You must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection. May be at more than one job site on a daily basis and must be able to tolerate changes in climate.
