We are seeking a dedicated LVN for our Medical Surgical Unit to help us achieve our mission of excellence in patient care.

Role Responsibilities and Qualifications

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care by performing a variety of delegated basic patient care services. Collaborating with Registered Nurses and other healthcare professionals, the LVN provides tailored, comprehensive care in accordance with established standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct, evidence-based care to patients as directed by physicians or RNs.
  • Assist with medical procedures and monitoring as required.
  • Conduct lab tests and procedures within the LVN scope of practice, following competency verification.
  • Accurately document care provided in patient medical records in a timely manner.
  • Serve as a resource for department staff, students, and volunteers to enhance patient care quality.
Required Qualifications:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
  • Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) credential.
  • Graduate of an accredited vocational nursing program.
