Job Summary

We are seeking an Environmental Engineer or Scientist Intern to join our Hartford, CT based Environmental group for a 12 week paid summer program. As an intern, you will work on site investigation projects and gain in-depth work experience in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in monitoring and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and permits
  • Conduct environmental site assessments and inspections
  • Support the preparation of environmental reports and documentation
  • Collect and analyze environmental samples (e.g., soil, water, air)
  • Conduct environmental impact assessments (EIA) and risk analyses
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate environmental considerations into project designs
Requirements
  • Pursuing a degree in environmental engineering, geology, hydrology, or related field
  • 3.0 GPA or higher
  • 40 hour HAZWOPER certification
  • Proficiency with MS Office programs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. of equipment
  • Experience with AutoCAD is a plus
