Job Title: EMI/EMC Engineer

Triumph Group Operations Inc is seeking a highly skilled EMI/EMC Engineer to join our team in West Hartford, CT.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a technical specialist with deep knowledge of Electromagnetic Interference (EMI), Electromagnetic Conduction (EMC), Lightning, and Environmental (ENV) activities. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical, analytical, and technical writing skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with internal customers and team members.

Responsibilities:
  • Generate EMI, EMC, Lightning, and ENV test procedures
  • Write technical reports and work with multiple types of lab equipment
  • Perform multiple tests independently, either onsite or offsite
  • Collaborate with engineers and managers across multiple disciplines
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • More than 2-years of relevant EMI, EMC, Lightning, and ENV test and documentation experience
  • Prior aerospace experience preferred
  • Familiarity with EMI/EMC/Lightning test equipment
Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Technical EMI, EMC, Lightning standards in RTCA DO-160, MIL-STD-704, MIL-STD-461
  • ENV standards in RTCA DO-160, MIL-STD 810
  • Tile programs (customized scripts)
  • Documentation tools (MS Word/PowerPoint, Visio, Adobe, Nuance)
