Emergency Department Nurse

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals at MountainView Hospital. As a key member of our emergency department, you will provide high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with a wide range of illnesses and injuries, including lifesaving procedures in emergency and trauma situations.
- Maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the Emergency/Trauma clinical setting.
- Participate in organizational and unit-based quality improvement activities, completing required competencies within defined time frames.
- Maintain professional and effective working relationships with all members of the Health Care Team.
- Support the mission, philosophy, and goals of the HCA Hospital.
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
- Current Nevada Registered Nurse (R.N.) license.
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS.
- CPI must be obtained within 90 days from date of hire/transfer.
- ENPC must be obtained within 9 months of Hire/Transfer.
- Minimum two (2) years' experience in an emergency department of an acute care facility preferred.
- Minimum one (1) year critical care experience and/or the successful completion of a recognized critical care course or Orientation to Emergency Nursing Course.
