We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals at MountainView Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support in a fast-paced emergency setting.
Key Responsibilities- Provide nursing care for a wide range of illnesses and injuries, including lifesaving procedures in emergency and trauma situations.
- Maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the Emergency/Trauma clinical setting.
- Participate in organizational and unit-based quality improvement activities.
- Maintain professional and effective working relationships with all members of the healthcare team.
- Support the mission, philosophy, and goals of MountainView Hospital.
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
- Current Nevada Registered Nurse (R.N.) license.
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications.
- CPI certification within 90 days of hire/transfer.
- ENPC certification within 9 months of hire/transfer.
- Minimum two years' experience in an emergency department of an acute care facility preferred.
- Minimum one year critical care experience and/or successful completion of a recognized critical care course or Orientation to Emergency Nursing Course.
