Job Summary:

The Sous Chef is a key member of the culinary team at American Golf, responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations. This role requires a high level of expertise in food production, inventory management, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the daily production, preparation, and presentation of all food
Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure high-quality dishes and exceptional customer service
Develop and implement menus, recipes, and food presentation standards
Monitor and control labor and food costs to ensure budgetary compliance
Collaborate with the Executive Chef to create new menu items and specials
Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations

Requirements:

Proven culinary skills and experience in a high-volume restaurant environment
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, as well as inventory management and purchasing practices
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
