Job Summary

The District Manager is a key leadership role at Blick Art Materials, responsible for overseeing the operations of multiple retail stores in the Northern CA, OR, WA, & UT region. This position requires a strong focus on customer service, sales growth, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction
  • Lead and manage a team of Retail Store General Managers to achieve business objectives
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Manage budgets, inventory, and cash handling to optimize store performance
  • Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and knowledge
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business results and improve customer experience
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in retail management, preferably in the art supply industry
  • Proven track record of sales growth, customer satisfaction, and team leadership
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
