Job Summary

The District Sales Manager is a key field leader responsible for driving strategic product sell-through, delivering key business results, and ensuring exceptional customer service across a given geographic area.

Key ResponsibilitiesPeople and Training Development
  • Develop and implement a district-wide hiring strategy to meet business needs, including recruitment, training, and talent development.
  • Collaborate with Store Managers to create a positive and productive work environment, fostering a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular store visits to provide coaching, feedback, and support to ensure store operational principles are followed and customer service standards are met.
  • Manage employee relations, including addressing concerns, administering progressive discipline, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Customer Experience
  • Ensure stores deliver exceptional customer service, achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales targets through regular store visits and coaching.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive customer engagement, including special offers, promotions, and loyalty programs.
  • Monitor and address customer feedback, resolving issues and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Operations
  • Manage district operations, including scheduling, payroll, and inventory management, to ensure efficient and effective store operations.
  • Collaborate with Regional Director and Regional Loss Prevention Investigator to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth, including new store openings and market expansion.
Requirements
  • Four-year degree in business or a related field and one year relevant experience or; two-year degree in a related field and at least two years of relevant experience or; three years of relevant experience.
  • Proven ability to produce sales results, minimize loss, and perform independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate verbally in a clear, audible, and professional manner, and ability to operate a computer and software programs.
Physical and Travel Requirements
  • Ability to work varying days and hours, maintain an excellent attendance record, and possess a valid driver's license, certificate of auto insurance coverage, and ability to drive an automobile.
  • Extensive travel (up to 90%) in a given geographic area, with ability to work overnight for training and/or business meetings.
