Job Responsibilities:

The IT Support Technician will be responsible for:

  • Delivering on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of intricate issues for clients while recommending and implementing corrective measures.
  • Installing, configuring, testing, maintaining, monitoring, and troubleshooting end-user workstations and associated hardware and software to meet required service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Collaborating with network administrators to ensure the seamless operation of the organization's desktop computing environment.
  • Administering and resolving issues related to end-user workstation software products as necessary.
  • Responding to incoming support requests via various communication channels.
  • Documenting instances of equipment failure, repairs, installations, and removals accurately.
  • Maintaining and updating all assigned incident tickets diligently.
  • Liaising with third-party support and equipment vendors when required.
  • Analyzing and resolving issues related to access cards and certificate troubleshooting.
  • Utilizing Active Directory for user account management.

Essential Qualifications:

Applicants must possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Security+ CE Certification.
  • An active DoD Secret security clearance.

Preferred Skills:

Ideal candidates will demonstrate:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfort in discussing technical details with users and other support staff.
  • A quick learning ability for new systems and IT concepts.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
