Job Title: Help Desk Technician - Government Support

Job Summary:

Piper Companies is seeking a highly skilled Help Desk Technician to support our government programs. The successful candidate will provide technical support to civilian government agencies and critical asset owners experiencing cyber-attacks.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to government agencies and critical asset owners.
  • Investigate and mitigate cyber-attacks.
  • Develop and implement restoration plans.
  • Collaborate with Asset Management to maintain accurate records.
  • Support the implementation of new technologies and equipment.
  • Assist lab staff with provisioning and issuing equipment.
  • Support systems administration tasks.
  • Provide insight and updates to lab standard operating procedures.

Requirements:

  • Active DoD Secret clearance (TS/SCI clearance preferred).
  • Ability to obtain DHS Suitability.
  • 1+ years of directly relevant experience.
  • Experience with multiple operating systems.
  • Proficiency in asset management practices and principles.
  • Help Desk ticket processing and procedures.
  • Customer support.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with writing technical procedures.
  • Virtualization automation and optimization.
  • Experience with Virtual Private Networks.
