Job Title: Help Desk Technician - Government Support
Job Summary:
Piper Companies is seeking a highly skilled Help Desk Technician to support our government programs. The successful candidate will provide technical support to civilian government agencies and critical asset owners experiencing cyber-attacks.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to government agencies and critical asset owners.
- Investigate and mitigate cyber-attacks.
- Develop and implement restoration plans.
- Collaborate with Asset Management to maintain accurate records.
- Support the implementation of new technologies and equipment.
- Assist lab staff with provisioning and issuing equipment.
- Support systems administration tasks.
- Provide insight and updates to lab standard operating procedures.
Requirements:
- Active DoD Secret clearance (TS/SCI clearance preferred).
- Ability to obtain DHS Suitability.
- 1+ years of directly relevant experience.
- Experience with multiple operating systems.
- Proficiency in asset management practices and principles.
- Help Desk ticket processing and procedures.
- Customer support.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with writing technical procedures.
- Virtualization automation and optimization.
- Experience with Virtual Private Networks.
Benefits:
- Max Salary: $74,630/year
- Location: Arlington, VA (Fully Onsite)
- Term: long term contract
