Redwood Animal Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Front Desk Associate to join our team. As a key member of our hospital staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service to our clients and their pets.

Responsibilities
  • Receive and place calls to clients for the purpose of scheduling appointments and answering questions.
  • Prioritize multiple tasks in a calm and organized manner to ensure efficient and effective workflow.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and pet records, including medical history and referral documentation.
  • Assist clients with prescription items, invoices, and scheduling future appointments.
  • Utilize hospital computer systems to document medical records and communicate with clients and teammates.
  • Manage the financial needs of the hospital by maintaining accurate balances and following cash and credit card handling procedures.
Requirements
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients and teammates.
  • Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and procedures.
  • Flexible schedule including some weekend and vacation shifts.
  • Experience with veterinary software is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Possession of organizational skills and critical thinking abilities.
