Cybersecurity Lead Project Manager (CPjM) - Subject Matter Expert

Position Overview:
Command Cyber Solutions is in search of a highly skilled Cybersecurity Lead Project Manager (CPjM) to provide expertise in managing cybersecurity initiatives. This role is pivotal in supporting the operations and maintenance services for the HILL COMPONENT ENTERPRISE DATA CENTER (CEDC).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Government Hill CEDC Cybersecurity Lead to oversee all cybersecurity-related tasks, including Risk Management Framework (RMF), Cybersecurity Readiness, software evaluations, and vulnerability assessments.
  • Maintain CISSP certification and coordinate processes as directed by the government representative.
  • Implement Agile Project Management methodologies as approved by Hill CEDC GPM, ensuring alignment with the project Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and timelines.
  • Assess security architecture of applications, identify operational conditions per the Authority to Operate (ATO), and guide necessary security modifications for cloud environments.
  • Provide support across various project pillars, ensuring comprehensive documentation and estimation of work efforts.
  • Manage RMF authorization processes and maintain eMASS artifacts in accordance with continuous monitoring strategies.
  • Generate compliance reports including IAVA, IAVM, MTO, CTO, NOTAMS, ACAS, STIGs, and CCRI health assessments using government tools.
  • Oversee vulnerability and compliance scanning processes, ensuring alignment with customer RMF requirements.
  • Track and manage cybersecurity-related tickets from initiation to resolution within the official government ticketing system.
  • Plan and monitor all Cyber Security Readiness initiatives.
  • Participate in all relevant Cybersecurity and onboarding meetings.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience in cybersecurity project management.

Clearance Requirement:
  • Must possess an Active Secret clearance.

Required Certification:
  • CISSP or CCSP certification.

Essential Skills:
  • Expertise in Cybersecurity and Risk Management.
  • Experience with Cloud Migration and Data Center Security.
  • Proficient in Project Management and Compliance Auditing.
  • Knowledge of Security Policies, Frameworks, and Incident Response.
  • Ability to conduct Vendor Security Assessments and Security Incident Investigations.

Work Environment:
  • Standard office environment within a government facility.
  • Typical working hours are Monday through Friday, with potential adjustments based on project needs.
  • Responsibilities may evolve based on customer requirements.
