Cybersecurity Lead Project Manager - Subject Matter Expert
Position Overview:
Command Cyber Solutions LLC is actively seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Lead Project Manager to provide expert support for IT operations and maintenance services. This role is critical in ensuring the security and integrity of systems within a federal environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Government Cybersecurity Lead to oversee and manage all cybersecurity initiatives, including Risk Management Framework (RMF), Cybersecurity Readiness, software assessments, and vulnerability oversight.
- Maintain CISSP certification and coordinate all cybersecurity processes as directed by government representatives.
- Implement Agile Project Management methodologies in project execution, adhering to established project work breakdown structures (WBS), plans, and schedules.
- Evaluate security architectures of applications, assess operational conditions per Authorization to Operate (ATO), and provide strategic guidance for cloud re-platforming.
- Support various project pillars by ensuring all tasks are identified, documented, and estimated for work efforts.
- Coordinate RMF authorizations and maintain eMASS artifacts in line with continuous monitoring strategies.
- Generate compliance reports and manage vulnerability scanning processes to meet customer requirements.
- Track and plan all Cybersecurity Readiness efforts, ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks.
- Attend all relevant cybersecurity and onboarding meetings to stay updated on project developments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience in cybersecurity project management.
- Active Secret clearance is mandatory.
Required Certifications:
- CISSP or CCSP certification is required.
Essential Skills:
- Expertise in Cybersecurity and Risk Management.
- Experience with Cloud Migration and Data Center Security.
- Proficient in Project Management methodologies.
- Knowledge of Security Policies, Frameworks, and Compliance Auditing.
- Strong capabilities in Security Monitoring, Incident Response, and Vendor Security Assessment.
Work Environment:
- Standard office environment with potential adjustments based on project needs.
- Flexibility in work hours may be required to meet project demands.
