Position Overview: We are currently seeking a Commercial Insurance Account Manager to join our Casualty division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service by promptly addressing client inquiries and requests while keeping the Service team informed.
  • Prepare, process, and review essential documents including certificates of insurance, Auto ID cards, binders, audits, endorsements, and renewal information requests.
  • Analyze client exposure data to ensure comprehensive coverage.
  • Respond to routine data requests and questions from clients, underwriters, and internal staff efficiently.
  • Develop and maintain client service plans, manage mid-term adjustments, and assist in Stewardship reviews.
  • Lead and coordinate the efforts of team members on assigned accounts.
  • Oversee new client setup and ongoing maintenance in the agency management system, ensuring accurate filing and updates.
  • Handle premium finance agreement requests and ensure invoicing accuracy.
  • Summarize loss runs and advocate for clients in claims processes.
  • Engage with prospects and clients to deepen understanding of their accounts.
  • Assist in new account development by evaluating potential uninsured or underinsured exposures.
  • Participate in the marketing process, including contacting markets and preparing proposals.
  • Attend Continuing Education classes to enhance professional knowledge.
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong commitment to customer service.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Proactive approach to meeting service requirements.
  • Proficient in keyboard and PC skills, with familiarity in word processing and spreadsheet software.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic team environment.
  • Preferred: College degree and 3+ years of relevant experience, with a valid Property and Casualty Producer license.
