Speech-Language Pathology Assistant

At Soliant, we are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Lexington, Texas. This is a great opportunity to work on an education team and make a difference in the lives of students.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist in conducting assessments, evaluations, and therapy sessions
- Work with students individually or in small groups to improve communication skills
- Implement therapy plans and techniques developed by the Speech-Language Pathologist
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communication with parents and caregivers
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to support students' speech and language needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education plans
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistance or related field
- State License/certification
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
