Job Summary:

MV Transportation is seeking a highly skilled Dispatcher to join our team. As a Dispatcher, you will play a critical role in directing the day-to-day route operations and reporting to the Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with drivers and clients to ensure safe, cost-effective, and on-time operating performance.
  • Monitor and track sign-in/sign-out times, routes, and service issues.
  • Collaborate with management to resolve service issues and improve overall performance.
  • Assign trips to drivers to ensure adequate disbursement of trips between routes.
  • Participate in analysis and review of operating performance to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • One year of previous Dispatcher experience preferred.
  • Two years of Customer Service experience is preferred.
  • Able to obtain a CDL B with Airbrakes and Passenger endorsement.
  • Paid training available to obtain a CDL with endorsements.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain composure under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrate a high customer service commitment.
  • Able to demonstrate professional phone manner.
