The Regional Managing Director will be responsible for driving growth and expansion in a defined region by securing new customers at the state and local government levels.
This role will serve as the "quarterback" of their region, building and communicating support and alignment across internal and external resources to execute on business objectives.
The selected candidate will have an annual quota target with quarterly goals, requiring 5+ years of experience meeting or exceeding quota while selling SaaS-based solutions to the public sector.
Key responsibilities include:
- Quota Attainment: Meeting or exceeding annual sales targets
- Territory Planning: Developing and executing regional sales strategies
- Prospecting and Pipeline Building: Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
- Opportunity Execution: Closing deals and driving revenue growth
- Competing, Negotiating, and Closing: Effectively competing for and closing deals
- Strategic Account Planning: Collaborating with Client Success Managers to drive growth
- Networking and Marketing: Building relationships and promoting the company's offerings
- Continued Learning and Development: Staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
The ideal candidate will have an extensive network in business and IT at major Midwestern public sector governments, technology and consulting partners, and local advisors or lobbyists.
What You'll Need to Have:To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- 5+ years of experience meeting or exceeding quota while selling SaaS-based solutions to the public sector
- Relevant experience in quota attainment, territory planning, prospecting, pipeline building, opportunity execution, competing, negotiating, and closing
- An extensive network in business and IT at major Midwestern public sector governments, technology and consulting partners, and local advisors or lobbyists
