Job Summary:

The Sales Associate role at Liberty Mutual Group involves utilizing consultative sales techniques to prospect and initiate new business sales. This position also includes assisting in the processing of new business, identifying cross-selling opportunities, and executing marketing plans. Sales Associates are responsible for meeting monthly sales goals, completing follow-ups on new policies, and ensuring quality customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize consultative sales techniques to prospect and initiate new business sales and revenue growth opportunities
  • Assist in the processing of new business and finalizing sales and service transactions to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities and execute marketing plans to drive business growth and expansion
  • Meet monthly goals for new business sales and revenue targets
  • Complete follow-ups on new policies and capitalize on cross-selling opportunities to enhance customer relationships
  • Coordinate activities with other departments to ensure quality customer service and support
  • Address customer concerns regarding policies and new account status to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent training
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience in sales and customer service
  • Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication, and analytical skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks with varying time constraints to meet sales and service goals
  • Previous sales experience and a demonstrated track record of meeting sales goals are preferred
  • Must attain and maintain current state insurance license to sell insurance products
