Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop systems infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network components.
  • Manage and monitor installed systems and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and availability.
  • Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
  • Proactively identify and resolve technical issues to ensure high levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
  • Develop and maintain system-related installation documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Configure software and resolve technical problems, and maintain documentation of IT infrastructure and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Set up new users and provide access to systems and networks, manage and maintain file servers, operate firewalls, and troubleshoot and provide technical support to systems and network users.
Requirements
  • 5 years of relevant experience in systems engineering or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM or related discipline.
  • High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years of additional experience may be used in lieu of required degree.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Software Development.
  • Experience in an Agile development environment.
  • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and methodologies.
Clearance Requirements
  • This role requires an active TS/SCI clearance.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to be in a stationary position for more than 50% of the time.
  • Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery.
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
