POSITION SUMMARY

The NOV Pathway Rotational Program provides recent graduates with the chance to gain significant professional experience through a structured rotational framework lasting 2 to 3 years. This initiative is crafted to assist participants in cultivating robust functional and technical skills, alongside comprehensive business acumen through engaging, hands-on assignments and interaction with diverse teams within NOV.

As participants approach the conclusion of the program, they will collaborate with their management support team to pinpoint full-time roles that align with their individual competencies and the organization's requirements.

Participants will follow a designated career path based on their educational background and professional interests. Each career track is equipped with specific training and experiential learning objectives, with knowledge and performance assessed after each rotation.

In the Sales career track, the key responsibilities will include:

1. Collaborating with customers and the Engineering team to ensure equipment aligns with system specifications.

2. Proposing enhancements and new products to clients, detailing how these solutions can be more cost-efficient.

3. Leading and participating in ongoing training sessions for the sales team regarding equipment.

4. Building and nurturing relationships with key accounts.

5. Actively advocating for NOV's products and services.

6. Contributing to customer feedback analysis.

7. Supporting the alignment of products, services, and operations to effectively address customer challenges.

8. Monitoring bidding and proposal activities to meet conversion rate KPIs.

9. Utilizing CAD software and other engineering tools for conceptual designs, models, and weight assessments.

10. Conducting market share evaluations.

11. Preparing cost estimates and technical specifications.

12. Maintaining records and activities within the CRM system.

13. Developing reports and presentations as requested by upper management.

We welcome candidates who possess the following qualifications and skills:
  • Recent graduate (1-2 years) or graduating with an Engineering degree (preferably Mechanical Engineering) or equivalent experience.
  • 0 to 3 years of work experience required with a Bachelor's degree or 5 to 10 years without a degree.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong presentation abilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to plan and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Experience in leading and participating in meetings.
  • Familiarity with Oil and Gas Fracturing, Acidizing, Cementing, and Coil Tubing.
  • Ability to comprehend NOV's product and service portfolio at a technical level to align with sales strategies.
  • Capability to identify priority tasks and communicate them to the Sales and Operations Team for effective resource allocation.
  • Commitment to driving business growth.
  • Willingness to navigate challenges to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Adept at leveraging organizational resources to maximize intelligence and coordinate effectively.
  • Professional presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to establish trust and build relationships with customers and support networks.
  • Responsibility for adhering to corporate and customer HSE policies and procedures.
  • Retention of sales forecasts and development of sales strategies to meet objectives. Candidates are expected to continuously enhance sales plans to add value and foster customer relationships.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with key personnel in major accounts to support sales initiatives, benchmark performance, and develop innovative ideas.
