POSITION SUMMARY

The NOV Pathway Rotational Program provides recent graduates with the chance to gain valuable professional experience through a structured rotational framework lasting 2 to 3 years. This initiative is crafted to equip participants with robust functional and technical knowledge, alongside business acumen, through engaging, hands-on assignments and exposure to diverse teams within NOV. As the program concludes, participants will collaborate with their management support team to pinpoint full-time roles that align with their individual skill sets and the organization's requirements.

Participants will follow a designated career path tailored to their educational background and professional interests. Each path is associated with specific training and experiential learning objectives, with evaluations conducted after each rotation.

Upon following the Sales career track, the key responsibilities will include:

1. Collaborating with customers and the Engineering team to ensure that equipment aligns with system specifications.

2. Proposing innovative and enhanced products to clients, demonstrating how the equipment can be more cost-efficient.

3. Leading and participating in ongoing training sessions for the sales team regarding equipment.

4. Building and nurturing relationships with key accounts.

5. Actively advocating for NOV's products and services.

6. Assisting in gathering customer feedback and insights.

7. Supporting the alignment of products, services, and operations to effectively address customer challenges.

8. Monitoring bidding and proposal activities to meet conversion rate KPIs.

9. Utilizing CAD software and other engineering tools for conceptual designs, models, and weight assessments.

10. Conducting market share analyses.

11. Preparing cost estimates and technical specifications.

12. Maintaining records and activities within the CRM system.

13. Developing reports and presentations as requested by upper management.

We welcome candidates who possess the following qualifications and skills:
  • Recent graduate (1-2 years) or graduating with an Engineering degree (preferably Mechanical Engineering) or equivalent experience.
  • 0 to 3 years of work experience required with a Bachelor's degree or 5 to 10 years without a degree.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong presentation abilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills, capable of planning and prioritizing tasks to meet various deadlines.
  • Experience in leading and participating in meetings.
  • Familiarity with Oil and Gas Fracturing, Acidizing, Cementing, and Coil Tubing.
  • Ability to comprehend NOV's product and service portfolio at a technical level to align with sales strategies.
  • Competence in identifying priority tasks and effectively communicating them to the Sales and Operations Team for resource allocation.
  • Commitment to driving business growth.
  • Willingness to navigate challenges to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Ability to leverage organizational knowledge to optimize resource allocation.
