Job Title: Construction Sales Representative

Are you a sales professional looking for a new challenge in the construction industry? We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Sales Representative to join our team.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify and qualify potential clients through various channels, including networking, cold calling, industry events, and online research.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Understand their construction needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their project requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential clients.
  • Negotiate terms and pricing with clients to close sales deals.
  • Ensure that contracts and agreements are accurately prepared and signed.
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure successful project execution.
  • Communicate client expectations and monitor project progress.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors.
  • Use this information to identify new business opportunities and enhance sales strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and transactions.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales and project lifecycle.
  • Work closely with the sales team and other departments to coordinate efforts and achieve company goals.
  • Share insights and feedback to improve sales processes and strategies.
  • Continuously improve sales skills and industry knowledge through training and professional development opportunities.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the company.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach.
  • Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites and industry events as needed.

Salary: $47,000 - $52,000 a year
