Job Title: Assembler and Test Technician

BCforward is seeking a highly motivated Assembler and Test Technician for an opportunity in Torrance, CA.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Assembler and Test Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing precision assembly on complex production and repair actuators, adjusting or aligning through shimming and other means of mechanical adjustments specified by blueprint or other specification limits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform precision assembly on complex production and repair actuators.
  • Adjust or align through shimming and other means of mechanical adjustments specified by blueprint or other specification limits.
  • Utilize a variety of mechanical measuring equipment such as: Dial Indicators, calipers & indicators to obtain proper assembly - build requirements.
  • Maintain dimensional accuracy on assemblies utilizing torque wrenches, fixtures, tooling, gages and other measuring devices.
  • Required to work from assembly instructions, both written and oral.
Requirements:
  • Reading blueprints, use of hand tools, power tools like torque wrenches, dial indicator, calipers.
  • Mechanical assembly, preferably in aerospace or defense manufacturing Industry.
Benefits:

You will get 10% shift differential for 2nd shift.
