Position Overview:

The role involves executing a variety of assembly tasks on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electro-mechanical components, including valves, actuators, and systems. This is achieved through the use of diverse electrical and mechanical measuring tools, assembly equipment, and cleaning apparatus.

Candidates will be expected to interpret technical drawings, worksheets, parts lists, and other documentation. A solid understanding of the products is essential for performing diagnostic rework or troubleshooting on units that fail to meet testing standards.

In addition, the technician will engage in repairs that typically coincide with production operations. Responsibilities include working on hydraulic stands to carry out assembly tasks and setting up AMPS and 151 stages. Some testing will be conducted following established procedures. The role requires a positive contribution to the collaborative work environment, emphasizing productivity, initiative, teamwork, data collection, and a constructive attitude.

Qualifications and Educational Background:

Essential Skills:

  • Proficient in using hand tools and adhering to written guidelines.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Experience in complex assembly processes.
  • Minimum educational requirement: High School Diploma or GED.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Airframe & Powerplant license.

Compensation:

The hourly wage for this position is competitive and may vary based on relevant knowledge, skills, and experience.
