Restaurant General Manager Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant General Manager to join our team at Loves Travel Stops & Country Store. As a Restaurant General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our restaurant operations, including managing staff, maintaining high-quality food and service standards, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and motivate a team of restaurant staff to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high-quality food standards.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and control costs, including labor, inventory, and supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and operations, to achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience in restaurant management, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Intermediate level PC skills, including MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS Excel.

Work Environment:

Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment where you will be working with a team to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high-quality food standards. You will be required to stand and walk for long periods, with some bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing. You will also be required to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis.
