Associate Director, Center for Public Health

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Director to join our team at the Center for Public Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing various public health initiatives, collaborating with faculty, researchers, and stakeholders across different disciplines, and advancing the mission of the Center.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage public health initiatives, including program development, implementation, and evaluation.
- Collaborate with faculty, researchers, and stakeholders to advance public health research, education, and community engagement.
- Develop and maintain relationships with public health organizations, community-based organizations, and external stakeholders to identify opportunities for collaboration and growth.
- Oversee the budget and financial management of the Center, including identifying and securing additional funding through grant opportunities and philanthropy.
- Supervise staff and ensure effective communication and coordination amongst all Center team members.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Arts, and 7 to 10 years of experience or Masters of Science, Masters of Arts, and 5 to 7 or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- A master's degree in public health or in a health-related field, and background in public health practice is strongly preferred.
The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent deadlines and competing priorities. The ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, is essential.
