Job Summary:The Health Center Manager RN will be responsible for overseeing the overall management of a medium-sized health center, providing patient care and technical expertise as needed. This role will also involve managing technical team leaders, monitoring daily operational processes, and compiling input for performance appraisals.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the management of a medium-sized health center, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
- Provide patient care and technical expertise as needed, with a moderate amount of time dedicated to these activities.
- Manage technical team leaders and monitor daily operational processes, including workflow, work schedules, and timecard monitoring.
- Compile input for performance appraisals and provide feedback to staff on a regular basis.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and present resolutions and recommendations to the Director, Client Operations.
- Manage internal budget, review expenses, and purchase supplies and equipment as needed.
- Assist in the identification and scheduling of local per diems and work collaboratively with the Medical Leader at the site to manage internal site issues.
- Communicate regularly with staff, conduct meetings, and keep staff informed.
- Act as the health center's infection control lead and collaborate with the corporate Director of Quality and Infection Control Officer.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
- Current license as a LPN/LVN, RN, or NP/PA in the practicing state.
- Certification in Occupational Health (COHN/COHN-S) may be required for some sites.
- Current hands-on certification in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support for healthcare providers is required.
- Minimum 3+ years' experience in the medical field.
- 2-3 years' management experience.
- Experience accessing CDC, WHO, APIC, or other industry standards for Infection Prevention practices.
- Excellent computer skills, including Internet software, spreadsheet, and word processing.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and workflow management skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Healthcare experience preferred.
- Training skills preferred.
- Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records preferred.
