Job Title: Segment Manager - Food & Beverage

AAF International is seeking a highly skilled Segment Manager - Food & Beverage to join our team. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and controlling the sales of our products within the Food and Beverage customer segment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulate and recommend policies and objectives for the organization's sales activities to ensure achievement of business sales and profitability objectives.
  • Coordinate activities of the marketing operation in accomplishing organization objectives and sales goals.
  • Direct sales planning which includes an analysis of competitive products and selling techniques, market share, quotas, pricing, and distribution.
  • Formulate and recommend policies and objectives to ensure the most effective operation of direct field sales activities.
  • Recommend product modifications or improvements based on findings of marketing research, technical service work, or sales personnel feedback.
  • Recommend pricing policies including quantities, terms and conditions of sales.
  • Recommend delegation of pricing authority and individual pricing questions with policy implications.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited University in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10-15 years of relevant selling experience.
  • Understanding and experience with high value-added product selling, pricing, negotiating, and channel management.
  • Ability to communicate and sell both products and value concepts at all organizational levels.
  • Be able to synthesize various input and ideas into relevant and clear strategies and secure buy-in from diverse teams in order to implement them.
  • Must understand the importance and role of brand in building a profitable business, and have experience in product management.
  • P&L management capability a requirement.
  • A history of consistently delivering on expectations for growth and profitability must be demonstrated.
  • Team player with proven success in building strong national and remote sales teams.
