The People Operations Generalist will collaborate closely with the People Operations team to ensure accurate data management and effective communication with employees and leadership across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage employee inquiries via phone and email, providing prompt responses and solutions.
  • Maintain organized digital records for employees and their documentation.
  • Assist in enhancing all People Operations-related processes and procedures.
  • Utilize people analytics and reporting methodologies to inform decision-making.
  • Support recruitment initiatives, including sourcing candidates and facilitating the onboarding process for managerial positions.
  • Address inquiries from labor departments and verify employment details.
  • Stay updated on compliance matters related to wages, employee benefits, personnel practices, and employment legislation.
  • Promote and support initiatives aimed at enhancing employee diversity.
  • Collaborate with various departments to communicate needs, exchange ideas, and identify solutions to enhance the employee experience.
  • Travel as needed for company meetings, training sessions, and to support new location launches.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resources.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR/SPHR certifications are highly desirable.
  • Additional training in People Operations is advantageous.
  • Proficient in MS Office and HRIS systems.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of employment and labor laws.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise discretion.
  • Commitment to teamwork and achieving results that align with business objectives.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and effective analytical decision-making skills.
  • Familiarity with employment law and strong interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution and critical thinking.
