Diagnostic Imaging Technologist

This position is responsible for performing various radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of diagnostic imaging principles and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment to produce high-quality images
- Position patients for optimal imaging results
- Develop and process radiographic images
- Assist radiologists during procedures as needed
- Supervise and train technical and ancillary personnel
- California State Fluoroscopic Permit (RTF)
- Certified by the State of California Department of Health Services in Diagnostic Radiology (CRT)
- One (1) year of progressively responsible and directly related work experience
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and congenital/acquired pathology
The Physical Requirements and Working Conditions in which the job is typically performed are available from the Occupational Health Department.
