About the Role

Rinker Design Associates is seeking an experienced Bid Development Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing bid strategies, creating high-quality proposal documents, and managing the entire bid process from start to finish.

We are looking for someone with a strong background in marketing, business, or communications, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the A/E/C industry. They will possess excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, as well as strong oral communication skills.

Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Winning Strategies: Conduct market research, analyze client needs, and develop effective bid strategies to increase our chances of winning contracts.
  • Create High-Quality Proposals: Write, edit, and proof high-quality proposal documents, staff resumes, project descriptions, and marketing collateral to deliver compelling submissions.
  • Manage the Bid Process: Coordinate and conduct proposal kick-off meetings, manage proposal workflows, and ensure opportunities are accurately tracked in our system.
  • Elevate Our Brand: Coordinate with and assist the Marketing Group to develop and ensure consistency in our company branding for internal and external outreach.
  • Build Relationships and Collaborate: Attend pre-bid meetings, marketing events, and conferences to strengthen relationships and gather insights, as needed.
