About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Estimator to join our team at RMT Construction & Development Group, LLC. As a Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for evaluating bid specifications and drawings to ensure we possess all the necessary information to bid and secure projects effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate bid specifications and drawings to identify potential project risks and opportunities.
- Develop detailed estimates for commercial construction projects.
- Collaborate closely with the Preconstruction and Project Management teams to facilitate project success.
- Maintain accurate records of project estimates and costs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
To be successful as a Senior Estimator, you will need:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial estimating.
- Strong math skills and attention to detail.
- Able to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
