Job Summary

We are seeking an RF Engineer Associate to join our Space Radio Frequency Center of Excellence team. As an RF Engineer Associate, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing RF systems and equipment for various space-related applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop RF systems and equipment for space-related applications
  • Test and troubleshoot RF systems and equipment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate RF systems into larger space systems
  • Conduct research and development to improve RF system performance and efficiency
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Experience with RF circuit analysis and design
  • Experience with integration and test of RF components, payloads, and/or subsystems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to obtain security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with phases of product lifecycle (e.g., SRR, PDR, CDR, MRR, and TRR)
  • Experience with tools such as Agilent ADS (Advanced Design System), Ansys HFSS (High Frequency Structure Simulator), AWR Microwave Office, or similar tool packages
  • Certification and training as Certified Principal Engineer (CPE), Responsible Engineer, or equivalent
  • RF and/or digital payload test measurement techniques
  • Architecture, integration, and test of Electronically Steerable Arrays (ESA), Radar Systems, RF and/or digital payloads, Telemetry Tracking & Command (TT&C), or missile communications subsystems
