The Lift Operator - Warehouse Specialist is responsible for safely operating industrial trucks equipped with lifting devices to move products, equipment, or materials within the warehouse. Key Responsibilities
  • Operate industrial trucks to transport materials and products within the warehouse
  • Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, racks, and shelves
  • Stack boxes on pallets using lifting, team lifting, or sliding techniques
  • Attach identifying tags or labels to materials or mark information on cases or units
  • Read Large Order Location (LOL) Sheets and pull products from designated locations
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • One to three months of experience or training
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to present information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Ability to add and subtract all numbers and to multiply and divide
  • Ability to perform these operations using units of weight measurement
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
Work Environment

The Lift Operator - Warehouse Specialist will work in a distribution environment with a high level of physical activity. The employee will be required to stand, talk, and hear frequently, and will be exposed to constant heavy lifting.
