Job Overview

At PID LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, providing leadership support to the management team, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and guidance to kitchen staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Assist the Chef in the absence of the Chef, ensuring that all kitchen operations run smoothly.
  • Responsible for scheduling, organizing, and training staff associated with the outlets as assigned by management.
  • Order and receive supplies, manage inventory, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Discipline line-level associates and maintain a positive and respectful work environment.
  • Work independently under pressure, making split-second decisions to ensure freshness and quality of product.
  • Maintain all standards of the operation and work closely with service staff and outlet managers to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Adjust staffing levels according to anticipated volume and provide operational relief to staff when needed.
  • Lead staff and guide guests comfortably under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Two years' supervising experience is a must.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, daylight and evening.
  • Ability to manage, train, and help with employee issues.
  • Ability to oversee the quality of employee service skills, sanitation, and area upkeep.
  • Ability to lift minimally 30 pounds and work on their feet for long periods of time.
  • Ability to hold staff responsible for Company and Departmental Policies and Procedures and process appropriate documentation.
  • Ability to make changes, follow cash handling procedures, and be familiar with Point of Sale systems.
  • Basic computer skills, including Excel and Word documents.
  • Ability to work closely with all managers, service, and culinary staff to ensure success for the department.
  • Serve-Safe Certification is a plus.
  • Ability to interact with internal and external guests with equal enthusiasm.
Education

High School diploma or equivalent. Culinary Degree Preferred. Safe Food Handling Certification or equivalent preferred.
