About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Development Manager to join our team at Brookfield Properties. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for overseeing the development process from concept to completion, ensuring that our projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the development process, including site acquisition, entitlements, design, construction, and project close-out.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and government agencies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including asset management, acquisitions, and capital markets, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource plans to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to junior team members and contribute to the development of the team's skills and expertise.
Requirements
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in real estate development, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects.
  • Strong knowledge of development processes, including site acquisition, entitlements, design, construction, and project close-out.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
