About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Development Manager to join our team at Brookfield Properties. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for overseeing the development process from concept to completion, ensuring that our projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the development process, including design, entitlement, construction, and project close-out.
  • Lead and manage a team of development professionals, including development analysts, associates, and senior associates.
  • Develop and implement business plans, budgets, and schedules for development projects.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including asset management, acquisitions, and capital markets teams.
  • Work closely with external partners, including consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide regular reporting and updates to senior management on project progress and performance.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in managing development projects from concept to completion.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in leading and managing teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of real estate development principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Experience with project management software and tools.
