About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Dick's Sporting Goods. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will play a critical role in creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers by providing excellent customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and upholding company standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and Assist Customers: Proactively approach customers to understand their needs and provide support throughout their shopping experience.
  • Merchandising and Presentation: Uphold company standards by following established floor sets, signage requirements, price changes, and inventory presentation and replenishment standards.
  • Promote Company Programs: Promote company programs, such as customer loyalty programs, warranty sales, and private label credit card enrollment.
  • Adhere to Company Policies: Adhere to established policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality of all company information.
  • Create an Inclusive Store Environment: Create an inclusive store environment where everyone feels welcome, safe, and is treated with respect.
  • Support the Team: Take an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team across the store.
Requirements
  • Prior Retail Experience: Prior retail experience preferred.
  • Golf Industry Experience: Golf industry experience preferred.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 15 to 35 lbs. items occasionally.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work extended periods of time standing or walking.
