Job Title: Medical Laboratory Specialist

As a Medical Laboratory Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory results, supporting our clinical operations and patient care.

About the Job:

As a Medical Laboratory Specialist, you will be responsible for performing laboratory and/or phlebotomy testing, monitoring and understanding high-tech instrumentation, and reporting results accurately and rapidly. You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with our clinical team to provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Practices established safety procedures, including Universal Precautions and proper use of safety equipment.
  • Performs routine scheduled and specialized maintenance of laboratory equipment.
  • Teaches laboratory procedures to other Technologists and Technicians.
Requirements:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual with an Associate's degree in Medical Technology or a related field. Certification from the American Society of Clinical Pathologists is also required. Experience working in a healthcare field is preferred.
